Quarry Lakes in Fremont, CA comes under the jurisdiction of East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) Authorities.
The Bay Area Chhath Team met with Park Authorities to get the hours extended for the celebration.
All attendees must adhere to the following stipulations of EBRPD Authorities:
On the day of Evening Arghya, November 18th, Quarry Lake gates will remain open till
7:00 PM. On the day of Morning Arghya, November 19th, the gates will open at 5:00 AM
Parking fees is $5.00 for each entry. Please carry CASH to facilitate quick Payment.
Participants must park in designated parking spaces. At no time can cars block access
roads, red zones, etc.
Fireworks, fire crackers, and sparklers are not allowed
Amplified sound needs to be approved by the park supervisor. Volume of the sound
must be very low and must be turned off, if park staff deem it to be too loud.
Any lighting brought to the park should be Battery powered.
